General Introduction
Based on our belief that graduate studies are vital in scientific research and progress all over the globe, and referring to ECRC values and objectives, ECRC organizes its 2nd International Graduate Research Symposium Scientific Conference. Thus, this symposium is an opportunity for graduate students to exchange ideas in a way to help them in their proposal, theses and dissertations, or academic research (e.g., journal publication).
Conference Languages
In order to enable as many researchers as possible to meet, communicate and exchange experience, Arabic, English and French are going to be the working languages of the conference.
Tracks and Paper Submission
The conference has the following Tracks:
(a) Sharia’a, Islamic Studies and Law
(b) Social Sciences (e.g., Psychology – Education – Sociology and Social Work – Administrative Sciences – Politics and Economics – Media and Communication – Geography).
(c) Humanities (e.g., Language – History – Philosophy – Arts – architecture)
(d) Medical and Health Sciences (e.g., medicine – nursing – medical laboratories – public health)
(e) Engineering and Science (all branches of engineering and all disciplines of science faculties)
Type of Participation
Only abstracts are accepted. The type of participation includes the following:
A. Completed theses and dissertations
B. Dissertation/thesis synopses
C. Dissertation or thesis preliminary findings
D. Initial research findings
E. Completed research findings
With respect to the first two types, a student and his/her advisor(s) can present their participation, providing that the advisor(s) are considered as co-authors. On the other hand, within the third and fourth types, a student can be a sole participant or with other co-authors, regardless the positions or backgrounds.
- Only students can present. For the sake of letting students get a chance to practice effective conference presentation, 7-minute duration is allocated to each presentation.
- Abstracts not conforming to the template will not be accepted.
Important Dates
Paper submission deadline: 15/4/2018
Notification of acceptance:
Within 1-2 weeks upon receipt, a notification of acceptance is issued and e-mailed to the corresponding author should the paper is accepted for the conference.
