Services:
Ealing Volunteer Centre provides support at a local level for residents and voluntary, private and statutory sector organisations, including:
- Brokerage - matching both individuals and groups interested in volunteering with appropriate opportunities in the local community.
- Marketing volunteering - encouraging local interest in volunteering and community activity, by promoting volunteering through local, regional and national events and campaigns, including awards ceremonies and a forum for volunteers.
- Good practice development - promoting good practice in working with volunteers by offering training, support and advice on good practice issues.
- Develop volunteering opportunities - working creatively with voluntary, community and statutory, groups and organisations to develop of imaginative local volunteering opportunities.
- Policy response and campaigning - identifying proposals or legislation that may impact on volunteering and campaign on issues that affect volunteers or volunteering.
- Strategic development of volunteering - informing strategic thinking and planning at a regional and national level.
