Terms and Conditions
- Bookings can be made by phone 0208 280 2222 or email info@lidocentre.org.uk and a confirmation will be sent to you.
- Room Hire charges become payable on the day of the hire. Under our normal terms of business Hirer will have 30 days to pay. Hirer will be invoiced. Hirer may pay by cheque, all cheques should be made payable to Ealing Community Resource Centre, or by electronic fund transfer as per instructions on the invoice.
- 14 working days notice of cancellation is required by the Hirer, otherwise full payment will be charged. The Centre reserves the right to cancel bookings in the case of emergencies or at any time before or during the period of hire in the event of any breach of the Hirer’s obligations.
- Rooms are normally available for hire between 09:00 and 17:00 Monday to Friday. Rooms and desks can be booked by the hour, half day or whole day. Minimum booking of 1 hour, a “half-day” booking refers to 3 hours in the morning between 10:00-13:00 or in the afternoon between 14:00-17:00.
- Light refreshments can be provided at a charge.
- The right to refuse any application is reserved by the Lido.
- Please adhere strictly to the booking time-any booking overruns will be charged.
- Presentation equipment is available on request at a charge, e.g. digital presentation, OHP, portable screen, portable address system. The hirer may not bring in their own electrical equipment without prior agreement and verification.
- No electrical appliance or outlet may be altered or modified in any way.
- Hirers must leave the room and equipment set up as found and in a tidy condition. Bookings must include time to set up and tidy afterwards. A charge will be made to the Hirer if Lido staff have to spend time to revert the room back to original set up.
- All damage and breakages must be reported. A charge may be made for the replacement of broken items.
- NO SMOKING on the premises.
- First aid boxes are located in the entrance lobby.
- The hirer should be familiar with the fire regulations and is responsible for the safe evacuation from the premises of all participants in the event of an emergency.
- No items may be stored in the building without prior agreement.
- The Lido Centre cannot accept liability for any loss, damage to or injury to any person or property, or theft, liability or expenses suffered by any person during or as a result of the Hirer’s use of the Premises, and that all persons using the premises or bringing personal belongings to the Premises do so entirely at their own risk.
