Unprecedented Issuesin Immigrant Community Conscious Integration

General Introduction

2ndECRC International Scientific Conference aims at continuing what was brought up in the 1st conference about conscious integration. The idea of the conference is for researchers from the countries all around the world to present their research outputs in this area from diverse perspectives for deeper understanding of Muslim communities in hostcountries in order to assist those Muslims to balance between maintaining their identity and conscious integration.This conference provides opportunities for researchers and delegates to exchange ideas and application experiences. It is worth mentioning that an unprecedented issue is defined as a situation is not known, experienced, or done before and needs a right judgment or decision that balance between Islamic principles and new situations, taken into considerationits surrounding circumstances. Looking at unprecedented issues in this way reflectshow critical thinking is linked with integrity.

Conference Languages

In order to enable as many researchers as possible to meet, communicate and exchange experience, Arabic and English are going to be the working languages of the conference.

Tracks and Paper Submission

The conference has the following Tracks:

(a) Unprecedented issues related to worship [‘badat]

(b) Unprecedented issues related to economy and finance

(c)Unprecedented issues related to secular jurisprudence and jurisdiction

(d)Unprecedented issues related to family laws

(e) Unprecedented issues related to politics

(f) Unprecedented issues related to education and pedagogy

(g) Unprecedented issues related to societal and psychological matters

All submissions should report original, previously unpublished research results, experimental or theoretical.The maximum paper length, excludingreferences and appendixes, is as follows: (b) Arabic paper is 10 pages (1″ margins on all sides, 12 Traditional Arabic,  spaced 1.5 lines each); and (b) English paper is five pages (1″ margins on all sides, 12 Times New Roman, double spaced).

All submissions will be peer reviewed and evaluated by a panel of experts based on originality, depth, and relevance to the conference, contributions and readability. Moreover, every paper should be focused and concise (unnecessary elaborations are not encouraged). Articles submitted to the conference should meet these criteria and must not be under consideration for publication elsewhere. Any submission should include an abstract, not exceeding 200 words. Manuscripts should follow APA publication style (6thed.). Any paper that does not follow these guidelines will be accepted for review. Important Dates

Paper submission deadline: 1/4/2106

Notification of acceptance:

Within 1-2 weeks upon receipt, a notification of acceptance is issued and e-mailed to the corresponding author should the paper is accepted for the conference.
